About me
Over 25 years experience in both nursing and insurance! I lived my early years in Corinth, MS. I moved to North West Alabama in 1993. It is there I spent much of my years nursing. After I married in 2011, I moved to Tupelo, MS.
What Makes Me Different
From age 3, I knew I wanted to be a nurse, because I wanted to help people. When I was young, my mom always had to wait on me after church because I was always going around and talking to everyone. Like many people in the South, I grew up around many elderly people, such as grandparents, great aunts, and church people who taught me to respect my elders.
I went on to become a nurse in 1993, and over the years I have worked in many areas of healthcare. Some of those include home health, hospice, family practice, hospital, and infectious disease, to name just a few. Along the way, I cross-trained in billing, insurance and pre-certifications. It was in that arena that I found I could still help people on another level!
Insurance became a passion, because one thing that always bothered me about nursing was the outrageous cost of healthcare and people being taken advantage of because they just didn't know! It became my mission to teach people about ways to protect their money, avoid unnecessary costs, and be honest about healthcare and insurance.
